VASARDA Modern Square & Round Dance Association Information

VASARDA is a dancer membership organization. The focus of the organization is (1) to sponsor an annual State Square Dance Convention, (2) publish a quarterly magazine entitled "Dancer News" and (3) to assist local square dance clubs and regional organizations. Membership in VASARDA is open to any individual who participates or supports a square dance activity, including rounds, folk, New England contra, clogging, line dance, and traditional square dance, in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Affairs of VASARDA are administered by an elected/appointed Board of Directors.

While square and round dance clubs are not members of VASARDA they are encouraged to be a communication link between VASARDA and the square dancing community.
