About Us
The purpose of this web site is to provide a effective form of communication for all modern square dance clubs and organizations in Virginia to display their club's information to the general public and square dancers. Virginia Square Dancers posts club information to other social web sites that enhances your clubs information by providing multiple avenues for people on the Internet to find information about your club. This web site does not take the place of your club's web site, but enhances your clubs information where Virginia Square Dancers are happy to provide links to your web site.
I was born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia. I have always lived in the State of Virginia. I have lived in Chesapeake, Virginia for over 25 years. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with a major in Information Technology, from Old Dominion University. My experience with web sites consists of designing and implementing: www.auxsysinc.com, www.stoneycreekforge.com, and www.squaredancers.org to list a few web sites I have completed. Some people may want to know if I know Adobe Flash, well try viewing my Marine Evaporator Demo or my Marine Boiler Demo. You will notice at the bottom of the web page for each site is listed, "Web Design by On Fire PC Systems". That was a small company I owned for about five years.
I have developed strategic principles over the last two years that allow www.squaredancers.org to be in the forefront of search engines queries. AOL, Google, and Yahoo are the principal search engines people use to seek information. You know as well as I, that people will not navigate much past the first page that displays information about a subject they are seeking. I have found the correct balance in information and how to write web pages that makes www.squaredancers.org come in the first ranked web page and generally the top of the list when a person is seeking information about modern square dancers.
You can verify this above paragraph by searching in AOL, Google, and/or Yahoo the words "square dancers". Google searches about 31,000,000 pages and puts www.squaredancers.org at the first page and at the top of the list! What about a club? Try "virginia tidal waves" and you will find www.squaredancers.org is on the first page at the top of the list! Will your square dance club benefit from this ability to found so easily? I would think that visitors to the area or vacating square dancers just might drop in on your club, if they are in your area of Virginia.
Help Virginia Square Dancers revitalize modern square dancing in the State of Virginia. Your clubs success in drawing more square dancers and new students can be enhanced with Virginia Square Dancers. Do not wait, send me email about your club, now! Answer the reporters questions: who, what, when, where, and how; when you send me information so no question will be left blank from the people you are trying to reach.
