How to start to become a square dancer. Keep up with SquareDancers.org, SquareDancers.org will post information when new square dancers classes begin, with their dates, locations, and times. Singles and couples are welcome, square dance angels will be on hand to make sure you have a partner and that there are enough square dancers to make enough squares. Get that cardiovascular work out and smile while you are doing it! What else can I do to decide to become a square dancer? Go to local clubs in your area and talk to square dancers, hear and feel the square dance music, and just get a general feel for the clubs. Click the top menu to see the differ net clubs and their web pages. Click the top menu for Club Directions and get directions to the club of your choice! Do I have to pay for visiting? Probably not, just tell the greeter at the door you wish to learn about square dancing and they should be happy to allow you free entrance to see their club in action.
